To manage heavy summer travel demands, McCarran International Airport has
implemented several changes to its parking facilities. Changes include the
addition of an alternate Short Term Parking area, expansion of Valet Parking,
and the opening of the Remote Overflow Parking Lot.
Passenger Pick-up Area – Arrivals Curb and Short Term Metered Parking (3 hours
or less) on Level 1 are frequently congested or full during peak travel periods,
including weekends. An alternate Short Term Metered Parking area is located on
Level 2M, which is reached by following the red roadway triangles up the ramp.
Additional signs direct drivers toward the Level 2M entrance. From there,
customers will take the elevator to Level 1 for Passenger Pickup.
Valet Parking – The valet parking area was recently expanded. Spaces should be
available at all but the busiest peak travel times. Access by following the
“Valet” sign and the red roadway triangles. There is a $4.00 minimum charge,
with a $14.00 per day maximum.
Remote Overflow Parking Lot - During busy summer travel months, Long Term
parking is frequently filled to capacity. When this occurs, Long Term parking is
closed and customers are directed to use the Remote Overflow Lot located east of
the airport on Russell Road at Kelly Lane. An airport courtesy shuttle will take
customers to and from the terminal. The cost is $8.00 per day in this uncovered
lot.
Arrive Early - Passengers flying during peak travel periods should arrive at
least two hours prior to their flight to allow adequate time to find a parking
space, check in, and process through the security checkpoint.
Customers may call 261-5122 for parking information.
